How a typical booking works

Your agent will receive an on-line submission on the website AgencyClick from a Background Casting Director. Details are posted regarding what kindof background performers they need and when. If you are what they are looking for, your agentwill submit you if you are marked as available for that day on your calendar. If you are requested specifically, your agent will call you directly. At this point, you can say “yes” or“no”.Please DO NOT say you are available if there is any reason you may not be able towork that day or are unable to get to the location on time.

If the casting director picks you for a spot, your agent will call/e-mail you to say you are confirmedfor the day. At this point please take note of the show name and date you are workingon. Your agent will give any information they have regarding wardrobe, general location,day or night shoot, etc.

The night before the day you are to work, you will receive a call time by e-mail.

Call times are given out only after the current days shooting has been completed. Call times can come in aslate as 11:00pm the night before. If you have not received your call time by then, pleasecall to inquire. Do not assume the call time is coming later or in the morning, alwayscheck!

All call time information is sent out to your e-mail first. This is to give you timeto read everything over and make sure you understand the info. If you are confidentyou fully understand the time, wardrobe and location, please e-mail yourconfirmation. If you have not confirmed by 11pm, your agent will call you.If you have any questions once you have received the e-mail, call your agent!

All confirmations need to be in by 11pm at the latest! Your agent is glad you have asocial life, but the day doesn't end for them until you confirm.

Please note that the use of e-mail for bookings is starting to become standard. Ifsubmissions are not of an urgent nature, or if there are several available, an emailmay be sent out by your agent. This is so you can see the dates and shows availableeasily. When you receive one of these, please reply via e-mail for accuracy. (We may have tailored the e-mail to you).
